Bookish Daydreamer
In 2008, I was a struggling single mom with a dream.
A lot of them, actually. The prevailing vision, however, was a free-spirited, open-minded, nerdy, bookish, lifestyle brand that empowered and uplifted women through quotes, song lyrics, and designs either printed on custom designed t-shirts or handmade into unique one-of-kind pieces of jewelry.
I believed then, as I do now, that it is our imperfections that make us beautiful, our mistakes that make us unique. Just because things are broken, does not mean they cannot be beautiful.
For the last seventeen years I have lived that dream. I’ve made thousands of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, shipping them all over the world. Fulfilling the idea that we are all, in fact, so beautifully broken.
In the fall of 2024, I decided to step back. I needed a break. A new outlet.
So… I started writing.
I wanted to tell a story that is both deeply personal and boldly imaginative. By blending elements of my own life with a sci-fi dystopian backdrop, I want to highlight the extremities of our current world in a way that’s relatable and grounded. A story where women, especially mothers, are the backbone of survival and the architects of the future. A story of a hero that’s already in the thick of life, where sacrifice and resilience define her journey. A story of love, hope, and the quiet, unyielding power of women who are willing to sacrifice everything when no one else will.
As of fall 2025, I am currently working on my third novel while pursuing a literary agent and traditional publishing.
I will still have nerdy, bookish, and inspirational clothing available in my shop! But please stick around and join me on this new adventure!
